Okay, so, literally 5 days after I break down and convince myself to buy the UNIF Clothing "Hellraisers" in Black and Silver they come out with them in Black and GOLD!? WTF! Aaaaamazing. But I think i chose the right colors... since I dont wanna stick out TOO MUCH in Indiana right?! ;) 

After being sick for, like, two weeks straight I finally got myself out of my comfy, comfy cloud bed to get a refill on my makeup from Bare Essentials which took me to the fashion mall...So I HAD to stop by the newly opened Urban Outfitters...right? :) I walked in and immediately saw these high rise velvet Levis on sale for $20 dollars. SCORE! Then a little oversized slouchy grey tank perfect for the summer for 10 dollars. I go to check out and my total is only 20 dollars! I was like, "Gosh I wish I could tip you!!" because I was planning on having to spend at least 40 dollars in that store to get new work pants.

The purse and anklet I scored at a thrift store here in Indy a couple of days ago (Which is bringing new items to my Store on Etsy : Owlephant Vintage Soon! :-D ). The purse was I think, maybe, 80 cents!? A total steal. And the anklet was only 3 dollars and I'm pretty sure its real gold because it's not tarnishing my usual sensitive skin. MEGA Steal!

Howl At The Moon - 12.15.2011

 

Oversized Wold Sweater - Vintage/Thrifted ; Aztec Print Mini Skirt - American Apparel ; Tights - Urban Outfitters ; Shoes - Litas by Jeffrey Campbell ; Lipstick - MAC Up The Amp

I always keep my eyes peeled for over sized fabulously tacky wilderness sweatshirts. This sweater is one that I picked up recently. I hacked the bottom of it off because it had a thick band that made the sweater lay really horribly on my body. The wolf kinda looks like a Cat but I think it's rad. And it was, like, 85 cents. Score!

I took a trip to Bloomington on Tuesday and Wednesday to visit my brother and to just get away from Indy for a bit. It was so much fun! Even though I was only an hour away it felt like I was on vacation. And trust me, I need one. I stopped by many different little stores but nothing really caught my eye except for these tights from Urban Outfitters. I would rather have the ones from House of Holland (which I have linked) but these will do for now...until they rip which I'm sure will be soon. Tisk tisk Urban. I will still wear them even if they're ripped cause I'm awesome like that. I also bought a cute little floral romper that was on sale for 10 bux. I'm sure I will post it here sometime soon.

This skirt has been one of my favorites for a while and I get many questions about it. Its an older American Apparel skirt that I picked up at Rag-O-Rama for next to nothing. It's still on the website people and It goes with almost anything. Well...to me it does. ;)

I keep waiting and waiting for the sun to come out and for it to quit raining, but it was so gloomy today that I had to take pictures inside. This weekend Maggie and I are getting together to document some more goodies for ya'll. I hope you guys are farther along in your Christmas shopping than I am! Woopsies!

So, I finally got over myself and the busy street on which I live and took advantage of good, clear lighting. Its finally starting to get colder and I couldn't be happier about it! I've been waiting to layer it up all year long. Dont get me wrong, I love just throwing on a little sundress when its warm out but I love to take advantage of all of my clothes in the Fall and Winter seasons. Its going to be a looonnggg Winter though.

My best friend Madgeline has been doing my hair for about 3 years now. She has made my hair grow to the length it is now and also keeping me platinum as hell! I have been fantasizing about mermaid hair for months now so we added a little purple to my color blocking. I was so excited she went for it and I couldn't be happier with the results. 


Today I went and visited the new Urban Outfitters that opened up at our Keystone Mall...and to be honest with you, I wasn't impressed at all. Maybe because im comparing it to the 2 level Urban in Chicago but they didn't have ANY of the brands I was most excited about coming to Indianapolis. Help me out Urban!!! After I left feeling pretty dissapointed I wondered into the MAC store to help me feel better :) I picked up a light plum color called Up The Amp. The liptick pictured above is my favorite shade from MAC; Russian Red. I'm also a huge fan of Lady Danger.
